Green Buildings Program

Green Buildings for a Better Pfizer and a Healthier World
Every Pfizer office building, manufacturing site, logistics center, and R&D facility has an impact on the environment. The Green Buildings program emphasizes our global commitment to reducing that environmental impact. To lessen the impact of our facilities, Pfizer has made a commitment to develop environmentally responsible facilities through a program known as "Green Buildings: Local Action, Global Results." The net result is simple and clear – going Green delivers business value through lower facility lifecycle costs and helps minimize Pfizer's environmental footprint – a win-win for Pfizer and for the environment.
Goals and Commitments:
- To minimize environmental impact over the lifetime of the facility.
- To apply innovative engineering and sustainability principles to building management and construction policies.
- To promote the best alternatives to standard building materials and office interiors that support healthier, more eco-friendly business environments.
- To conserve natural resources and reduce energy consumption.
